The port of our water sports association is 1-2 km away. east of the village of Lekkerkerk. It is a town with a reasonable variety of shops and restaurants. Since our port is located on a river, this means that tides and currents must be taken into account. The facilities of our port are simple: Water and electricity on the jetty and toilets in the club boat. The port facility stays afloat, literally and figuratively, through self-activity. Compared with other ports, our port has low contribution and demurrage rates. Our association also has a port called "dry" for the maintenance of the boats.
