What’s wrong with my normal email?
Sending a 1,500 word email with your regular email app such as Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail, uses approximately 0.2MB on the Iridium network. With satellite overages of US$5/MB, this would cost US$1 per email! PredictMail (via the DataHub) can send the same email using only 0.0002MB. This data saving very quickly pays for the cost of the PredictMail service.

No. PredictMail will work on your phone or laptop via a direct Internet connection through cellular data or Wi-Fi. If you wish to use PredictMail via the GO! or GO exec, you need a DataHub.
Yes. PredictMail will work on your phone or laptop via a direct Internet connection through cellular data or Wi-Fi.
Each PredictMail subscription includes one unique PredictMail address. If you wish to have more PredictMail addresses, these can be purchased with an additional subscription.
This is up to you and whether you permit everyone to access the account. If you need to set up private email for many crew members, please buy additional PredictMail subscriptions.
Yes, you can keep your PredictMail address indefinitely as long as you maintain your subscription. If your subscription ends, your PredictMail service will be discontinued. However, if your email address remains unused by anyone else, you can reclaim it in the future if needed with a new subscription.
You can buy PredictMail for three or twelve months and let it expire. This will end your PredictMail service. When you wish to use PredictMail again, please buy PredictMail again. If your email address has not been used by anyone else, you can reactivate it.
You can; however, we do not recommend it. PredictMail is a compressed data email service optimized for use over satellite connections. Your email app connects to PredictMail Internet and DataHub to download PredictMail locally using the POP mail protocol, which is designed for use only on a single device. If you set up PredictMail on more than one device, you may experience email download, synchronization, and read status issues.
