There is a green light on the West pier. There is a red/white stake on the East pier that has recently been neatly painted and is therefore easily recognizable. A stone dam runs from this red/white stake to the bunting. This dam is submerged at average water level and is not marked. Occasionally a yacht tries to reach the harbor by taking the 'short route' here. This immediately provides work for
