In 1969, this marina was built on its current location, the southern shore of lakes Alkmaarder and Uitgeester, east of Uitgeest in a beautiful polder landscape. The port has 475 summer storage locations in the water and 100 locations in covered sheds. In winter, 300 boats can be parked outside and around 100 inside. In principle, 475 boats can be placed in the water. With these numbers, Zwaansmeerpolder is by far the largest port in Alkmaarder and Uitgeestermeer.
