About Puerto de Plentzia
Known as La Gallarda. At the beginning of its history it was a commercial port, adding fishing activity later, to today basically be a port for pleasure boats. Given the difficulty of anchoring in the Gaminiz shell, the only refuge has been and is the estuary, which today is dotted with pleasure boats. The port is located inside the estuary, with an area of one hectare. In the dock there are 149 jetty berths, always busy. The depth of the access channel is 1.5 m.
