About Puerto de DEBA
This historic port, from which Castilian wool was formerly exported to Northern Europe, barely conserves its seafaring character, maintaining only an appreciable sports fleet. The town sits on the eastern bank of the River Deba, and the port is channeled by a breakwater to the left and a breakwater to the right. The bar is variable and dangerous, leaving very little water at low tide. Small recreational dock upstream, next to the Mutriku road bridge. It has capacity for 70 anchored boats, with a draft of 1.5 m
