About Den Muntre Matros

Watch and experience the sun set in the ocean and the morning sun rise from your boat. Welcome to Den Muntre Matros on the Trønderlag coast, guest harbor and eatery at the far end of the ocean gap. Cozy and safe harbor with the open sea right outside. We have a 200 m floating quay with water filling, electricity and shower facilities. The Cheerful Sailor opened in 1996 and is already well known among boaters along the coast for its pleasant atmosphere, good food and its hospitable hosts. Trondhjems Seilforening

Skansen and Kanalhavna Trondhjem's Sailing Association (TSF) currently has a total of 242 berths at its disposal, of which 200 berths at Skansen and 42 berths in Kanalhavna. The berths are divided into categories from 1 to 5 by size. The total number of berths is distributed along 7 floating piers which have the designation Brygge B, C, D, E, G and H at Skansen, and Brygge F along Frostakaia inside Kanalhavna. All berths are illuminated and have access to water and electricity. For berths in category 1, electricity applies by agreement. In addition, TSF has 2 berths that are used for a ramp for dinghy sailing on Brygge E, 2 berths for regatta boats and escort boats on pier D, 2 berths for Yngling on Brygge B and 2 berths on Brygge D which the Kayak Club currently borrows free of charge, to a ramp for getting on and off. The design of the port facility also provides an opportunity to rent out 9 pieces. "1/2 place" outside along only one outrigger and partly without access to electricity. These places are rented out to boat owners who do not currently own shares in TSF Havn AS. TSF has pr. dd temporarily took over the administration of 2 berths for shareholders who in the past did not have their own boat in the facilities.

Båtforening has a good offer for guests who want to visit the city. Our guest pier is located along the pier right after you enter the harbor on the port side. there is the longside mooring. It will also be possible in the summer of 2021 to moor at the end of each pier as a guest. When electricity is needed, a power point marked with a guest is used. Previously, the guest jetty has been at diesel filling, this has now been changed and here it is only allowed to lie for diesel filling from our facility. All other uses are not possible as diesel filling will not be possible. Boats moored here can be removed at the owner's expense. Also applies to the inside of the pier. Use Gomarina when paying. Gomarina can be downloaded by clicking on the link to the right of the image (PC view) or at the bottom (mobile view) on this page. It will also be possible to pay with Vipps. mark with boat name / owner's name. Dybfest Marina

The marina got its own clubhouse with sanitary rooms, cladding and barbecue facilities in 2010. The clubhouse is open 24 hours a day during the holidays and has garnered much praise from visiting boaters. In the summer of 2017, old jetty equipment was replaced in the harbor. We got a brand new pier and several new guest piers. We welcome our guests to new and more guest seats. about 14 km to the nearest: Grocery stores, pharmacy, post office, police, bank, café, indoor sports hall, bowling, gas station, plumber, electrician, doctor, bed & breakfast A ferry is located in the harbor and the ferry crew is happy to answer questions about things and seaweed . Sailing The harbor with entrance is a little difficult to spot, from the main pier. A ferry is located at the port and has departures in the morning and afternoon. There are only 4 cable lengths from the main pier and into the harbor. Wind conditions A bit "tiring" when there is wind from NE in the summer. A good idea to call Havnevert before arrival then. Port depth At the guest pier it is 2.5 meters, otherwise in the harbor it is 3.5 meters. There is about a 2.5 meter difference between high and low tide. The tide table is posted in the clubhouse. Mooring Floating jetty with protrusions. Available berths are also used as guest berths during the holiday season.

esthagan Marina Hesthagan Marina (Sandstad marina) is located by Hesthagan Hyttefelt, 11 km from Åfjord center. The marina is for boats up to approx. 30 feet and depth up to about 70 cm. The harbor has easy access to fresh water and electricity. In connection with the facility, there is a large parking lot with lights, the possibility of setting up a boathouse and a launching ramp in concrete. A barbecue boathouse has also been set up in connection with the harbor. The harbor is video-surveilled and approved for safety discounts in the Norwegian Sea.
