About Port of M’diq
The port of M'diq is located at 5°18'5'' west longitude and 35°40'45'' north latitude, 25 km from Ceuta and 13 km from Tetouan. It is a driving force of the city's economic and social activity. It is a port whose main activities are fishing and boating. In 2009, the port of M'diq expanded significantly with the construction of the new marina. Following this new port's development, a fishing port redevelopment operation was completed in 2012. Port Services The port of M'diq provides users with a variety of services : Berthing of fishing and recreational boats; Ship handling: water, ice, food and fuel; The distribution of water and electric power to the tenants of the port's public domain; Consignment shop and sale of fishing equipment; Control and sale of fishery products; Management and cleaning of fish containers; Storage and processing of seafood; Aquaculture research to provide the aquaculturist based in the port with training sessions and solutions; The repair and refit of ships; Restaurants for the general public; Watersports facilities; Shops; Health Services; Administrative Services. Services provided to ships Berthing; Provision of water and electric power; Launching and docking; Technical repair and refitting on a designated slip dock.
