Sailing is a sport that due to its characteristics is very environmentally friendly. Boaters, thanks to their permanent contact with nature, are in themselves careful with the conservation of our sea resources. However, the above, the Cofradía Náutica del Pacífico has strict protocols to preserve the environment where its marina is located and has plans, regular measurements of water quality and material to face eventual contingencies that could affect it. We regularly host environmental conferences for our partners and the community, as well as talks to the Optimist kids. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Brotherhood has adopted several years ago the measures that contemplate the current regulations in everything related to environmental matters, counting for this with an Environmental and Waste Management Manual. The Brotherhood contributes to the care of the Islote Pájaros Niños nature sanctuary, of which it is neighboring, through different measures that consider the maintenance of isolation bars, surveillance cameras, rodent control systems, support for the work to implement the sanctuary management plan and the existence of a protocol agreed with the environment department of the Municipality of Algarrobo, to report any news that occurs in this place and its surroundings. The Sanctuary is under the custody of the Ministry of the Environment and its administration and management is governed by the Management Plan approved by Exempt Resolution No. 0209 of March 23, 2016, issued by said ministry, whose implementation is in charge of a technical table made up of various agencies, under the coordination of the Department of the Environment of the I. Municipality of Algarrobo.

a boarding mound that allows the launching of boats of up to 7 tons, a Casino, a building enabled for meetings and youth parties, roofed sheds for boats, a manoeuvring yard, a car park, a swimming pool enclosure, which has an adjoining to it a kiosk and a pergola with a barbecue area and space next to the molo that, thanks to the rocks, forms a sea pool especially suitable for the recreation of small children. In addition, it maintains throughout the year the presence of administrative support personnel and officials who are experts in navigation matters and support it.
