About Colchester Harbour

Colchester Harbour facility is operated by the Parks and Recreation Department located on beautiful Lake Erie. The harbour charter boats and provide monthly and seasonal dockage for watercraft of all sizes. The Town of Essex takes great pride in its beautifully groomed beach. Located on the north shore of Lake Erie, Colchester Beach is one of Essex County's cleanest and most attractive beaches. Part of Colchester Harbour, the beach is adjacent to a Pirate Ship Playground, Splash Pad, outdoor concession stand, new washroom facilities and a beach volleyball net are close at hand. Recreational activities include boating, fishing, swimming, beach volleyball, sandcastle building, sunbathing, picnicking and much more.
